After my Professional Dance studies in Greece I attained a Post-graduate Diploma and then Master’s Degree in Dance Movement Psychotherapy (DMP) at the Laban Centre/City University in London (1998-2002). In the UK I taught Laban Movement Analysis at the Laban Center and the Metropolitan University (London) in 2001-03. I have being working in Athens, in private practice since 2003, with people who suffer from psychosomatic symptoms, personality disorders, developmental trauma, C-PTSD and depression.  I have enriched my practice with seminars at the Vegetotherapy and Character Analysis at the ‘Wilhelm Reich’ Centre in Athens and I use Vegetotherapy as a tool to build resources in order for the person to strengthen his/her ability to deal with stress. I trained in CRM in 2018 (Basic with Domna Ventouratou & Advanced/Core Self with Lisa Schwarz). In 2018 two books of mine were published, an autobiographic psychological novel (on accessing and healing dissociated parts of the Self) and a scientific guide in Dance Movement Psychotherapy (first ever published in Greek language) by Angelakis Publications, Athens, Greece. I am receiving CRM sessions myself regularly and I attend group supervision sessions, monthly, in Athens with Domna Ventouratou.

In my practice I use CRM to treat people with developmental trauma, in-the-womb trauma and generational trauma but also as the basic tool for healing and reaching the full potential of the person seeking help. My long previous experience with Dance as Art and Dance Movement Psychotherapy, I have a deep understanding of how the body expresses emotions through movement in a subtle way, I very much attend to the non-verbal communications and I am trained to draw further information about the person from body movement as well as his/her character type according to Reichian Character Analysis and attend to his/her developmental needs.
