After many years of working as a psychology researcher, Hannah developed an interest in working therapeutically. Her training in psychotherapy introduced her to experiential and emotion-focused approaches. More recently, she embraced the Comprehensive Resource Model (CRM), which she now integrates with other therapeutic modalities. Hannah has a particular interest in working with complex attachment issues and dissociation in adults.
She is accredited by the British Psychological Society as a Chartered Psychologist and is a Member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy.

I initially trained in Psychodynamic Counselling. I have a particular interest in attachment and the way in which our earliest relationships form the blueprint for later relationships. Through my own personal work with trauma I have developed an interest in working with the body. Our earliest experiences of being held, rocked and gazed at cannot be cognitively remembered. However, when we become resourced, when we feel safe enough, then the body is able to remember. CRM provides the resources that we need, during therapy as well as to use between sessions. Personal work with CRM has allowed me to become more securely attached as well as deepening the sense of flow in my life. I am finally stepping into the person I was meant to be. I have completed the CRM Basic Training, as well as Advanced CRM with Core Self. I have also participated in a small group experiential with Lisa Schwarz.
My practice is exclusively CRM-based and my staff of interns and trainees are taught and supervised in this model. Licensed as an LMFT in 1997, I practiced EMDR almost exclusively until I learned CRM. My earlier specialties were trauma and Reactive Attachment Disorder and the families struggling with their traumatized children. I continue to focus on attachment in couples and families, as well as within the individual as relationship to self. This work ultimately becomes about personal development as the individual discovers who they were always meant to be and begins to live that.
I am a trained registered Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor. I work from a relationship model, which considers how our past can influence our present, relationships, meanings we have made and how this effects our current relationship to ourselves, others and our world.

I practise as a Integrative psychotherapist, Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, CRM Practitioner, and am a lifelong explorer of Franciscan spirituality – of universal inclusion and that ‘everything belongs’ and is interconnected.
I fit my practice round the needs and constraints of clients. Many clients suffer from chronic acute anxiety, life-depleting shame, a pervasive sense of helplessness to find joyful life – its roots often lie deep in early years developmental trauma. Some suffer additional single incident, medical, relational, work related, and other traumas.
CRM and SE are fantastic models for working with clients, particularly with those who like or need to understand what is happening and why they react as they do. They work with the whole person and how all parts of us continually mutually influence each other. The aim is to restore a sense of control to the client in their own life, to build a sense of vitality and pleasure in being alive, and to find a new way of connecting with self, others, and the wider world.
Welcome. Sometimes you need to talk it out and sometimes you might need to clear things out; they are different processes. I am primarily a Mindful based psychotherapist utilizing trauma-based interventions such as Comprehensive Resource Model (CRM) and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Yoga Therapy Skills (No Mat Required) and solution focused experiences that deepen your connection to your authentic self and to others. CRM (which I use daily in my practice) is a gentle process that goes deep into the neurophysiology helping to support regulating your nervous system and healing targeted issues. I have been living my practice for over 29 years and now I am more interested in what serves you to improve your life. Let’s find solutions for your life that make sense to you on all levels: Physical Level, Emotional Level, Mental Level, and Spiritual Level.
