CRM® Basic Training will provide you with the powerful interventions you need to work with your most fragile populations immediately and effectively.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand how the development and enhancement of resources can be used in and of themselves for “brain re-wiring” as well as for a physiological anchor from which to process trauma.
  • Summarize the components and mechanisms of resourcing that allow for healing without re-traumatization.
  • Observe demonstration of “nested” resources in clinical practice
  • Integrate the knowledge and practice of “nested” or “stacked” resources concurrently or sequentially within trauma processing through lecture, demonstrations, and practicums.

This 5-day training is a pre-requisite for all other CRM® training phases.  The schedule is different than normal as this training will be split into two separate weekends.  Each Friday and Saturday the training days will run from 9:00 am – 6:00 pm EST (New York Time) except for the first day which we ask everyone to be ready for by 8:45am EST with your Zoom account ready and your system tested and set for participation.  Each Sunday (Nov. 17 and Dec. 15) will be half days and will run from 9:00am – 2:00pm EST with a break in the middle.  For the full days, there will be morning and afternoon breaks of 15 minutes each, and a lunch break of one hour.

You must participate in all aspects of training, including practice time, and be present in the training throughout the five days to qualify as having completed the course.

CRM® Trainings are intended exclusively for professionals who are trained, licensed mental health professionals (i.e. counsellors, psychotherapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, Community Psychiatric Nurses, etc.). By signing up for the training, you will confirm that this is applicable to youIf you are currently a student and interested in attending a CRM training you will be welcome to join us upon receiving your license to practice but no active students are qualified to attend a CRM® training.

By registering for this training you agree to the following cancellation policy:
In case of written cancellation of the contract up to 2 months prior to the training, I will be refunded the full seminar fee minus an administrative fee of $30. In case of cancellation up to 1 months prior, I will be refunded 50% of the seminar fee. In case of later cancellation or not showing up, I must pay the full seminar fee unless I provide a substitute.  If CRM LLC® cancels I am entitled to a full refund of registration fees or a transfer to a future CRM® training.

5. Identify and implement CRM treatment within the framework of the neurobiology of
trauma
6. Differentiate between neurobiology and practice of Resourcing in CRM versus use of
Resourcing in other psychotherapeutic treatment modalities
7. Describe the neurobiology and practice of emotional memory re-consolidation
8. Formulate the Neurobiology of the CRM Resource Scaffolds
9. Compare and Contrast the Neurobiology of Attachment disruption versus secure
attachment and requirements for integrated attachment healing
10. Practice clinical applications of internally sourced neurobiological resourcing
interventions
11. Differentiate cognitive internal conflicts from neurobiological attachment paradoxes
12. Distinguish the development of Adult Self from Co-consciousness work with Ego
States
13. Discuss working with obstacles to treatment and thorough healing
14. Review psycho-education of trauma and CRM healing processes with clients
15. Formulate home-based work relevant to between session triggers
16. Explain importance of Therapist attunement to self and client
17. Practice specific breathing exercises that provide resourcing for various needs (ie.,
pain, panic attacks, flashbacks, nightmares and racing thoughts).
18. Find eye positions for the anchoring of resources, and how to direct another to find
their own.
19. Utilize a variety of secondary resources for enhancing brain neuroplasticity and
positive neurophysiological changes (including but not limited to bilateral music,
imagery, cognitive intent, cognitive choice).
20. Practice neurobiological resourcing skills that promote trauma processing without re-
traumatizing the client
21. Apply self-care for therapists who work with severe and complex trauma
22. Summarize mapping of dissociative systems to increase co-consciousness, internal
cooperation and internal communication
23. Operationalize CRM skills in emotional memory reconsolidation of victimization,
perpetration and failed rescuer experiences
24. Utilize Ego State interventions that facilitate internal communication, cooperation,
and co-consciousness between dissociated parts of self
25. Identify the appropriate timing for facilitation of integration of dissociative states
26. Practice a full CRM resource scaffold for down-regulating emotional dysregulation
27. Practice a full CRM resource scaffold for processing traumatic memories or for
emotional memory reconsolidation
28. Operationalize the closing of sessions with brain-based safety and activation of
positive neuroplasticity
29. Utilize methods of catalyzing brain neuroplasticity to maintain the gains made in
treatment session
30. Evaluate the explicit needs of the therapist relevant to doing their own trauma and
attachment disruption work
