Lisa,

You have been on my mind and in my heart all week…which has sped by in a flash. I hope you had a safe trip back to the east coast and that your jewelry arrived shortly thereafter. I do not have words to thank you for the 3 days you spent teaching us your model. The training was the very best I have attended in 25 years as a psychotherapist and I know in my body (and my brain) that it will have a profound impact on me, both professionally and personally. It already has. You are simply brilliant and were able to make an enormous amount of invaluable information easily accessible to us in a way that made learning a pleasure. Your passion, energy and commitment to this work is contagious.

I am already using many of the wonderful things you taught us with my patients and sharing information about it with other therapists and even one of my referring psychiatrists. I am so glad you videotaped the training, because I will want to watch it again and again and I already have a half dozen people who are ready to buy the DVD whenever it is available. I feel more inspired and energized about the healing work that has been my life’s calling than I have in a long time. Interestingly, one of my patients (who has profound attachment disruption issues and has been a great challenge for me) remarked when I saw her Monday afternoon that she expected me to be drained and exhausted after the intense weekend, but instead I seemed like I was filled with energy and fully present. And I was!

I truly believe that the work you are pioneering and sharing with us is transformative and so very important for our world. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your willingness to pour out the immense energy that you do in bringing this process to those of us out here in the trenches; I know it has changed my life and that is doing so for more people than you will ever know. I also know that this is just the beginning of a long and fruitful learning process and look forward to the next time I am able to attend another training with you. Take good care of yourself.

All my best,
Susie Hallowell
