Dr Ulia MatherPsychotherapist Self-employed
I work with clients who either have mild issues or suffer from prolonged mental health, relationship issues, multiple diagnoses and addictions. I have thousands of hours of clinical practice working in various settings that include short and long term work. As a therapist specialising in couple and trauma therapy I also provide individual/group supervision, study groups, mentoring, consultations to organisations and organise/facilitate CRM trainings in the UK.
Each of us is a unique individual so every session is adapted to the person’s needs by integrating various and creaive styles of therapy. My non-judgemental, respectful and confidential environment with emphasis on deep empathy and honesty, hopefully will allow you to feel safe and address various fears. I see myself as a challenging, flexible and grounded therapist who has a wealth of experience and the clients’ best interest at heart. Together we can explore your thoughts, feelings and physical sensations that underpin patterns of behaviour that you didn’t like or may even have been consciously aware of.
ANASTASIA ANASTASIA NIKOLITSABody-oriented Movement Psychotherapist (PgD,MA), CRM Traumatherapist (Advanced training) private practice
After my Professional Dance studies in Greece I attained a Post-graduate Diploma and then Master’s Degree in Dance Movement Psychotherapy (DMP) at the Laban Centre/City University in London (1998-2002). In the UK I taught Laban Movement Analysis at the Laban Center and the Metropolitan University (London) in 2001-03. I have being working in Athens, in private practice since 2003, with people who suffer from psychosomatic symptoms, personality disorders, developmental trauma, C-PTSD and depression. I have enriched my practice with seminars at the Vegetotherapy and Character Analysis at the ‘Wilhelm Reich’ Centre in Athens and I use Vegetotherapy as a tool to build resources in order for the person to strengthen his/her ability to deal with stress. I trained in CRM in 2018 (Basic with Domna Ventouratou & Advanced/Core Self with Lisa Schwarz). In 2018 two books of mine were published, an autobiographic psychological novel (on accessing and healing dissociated parts of the Self) and a scientific guide in Dance Movement Psychotherapy (first ever published in Greek language) by Angelakis Publications, Athens, Greece. I am receiving CRM sessions myself regularly and I attend group supervision sessions, monthly, in Athens with Domna Ventouratou.
In my practice I use CRM to treat people with developmental trauma, in-the-womb trauma and generational trauma but also as the basic tool for healing and reaching the full potential of the person seeking help. My long previous experience with Dance as Art and Dance Movement Psychotherapy, I have a deep understanding of how the body expresses emotions through movement in a subtle way, I very much attend to the non-verbal communications and I am trained to draw further information about the person from body movement as well as his/her character type according to Reichian Character Analysis and attend to his/her developmental needs.

I have postgraduate training in integrative counselling/psychotherapy and clinical hypnosis, and consultant status in Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR). I am accredited as a Senior Practitioner by the BACP and a Consultant by EMDR Europe.
I have particular interest in the treatment of post traumatic experiences: I was a contributor to NICE National Clinical Practice Guideline No. 26 – Post-traumatic stress disorder: the management of PTSD in adults and children in primary, secondary and community care. I have an interest in transpersonal and spiritual dimensions and am currently researching anomalous experience in the therapeutic process for PhD in the Department of Psychology & Counselling at the University of Greenwich.
I work mainly in Brighton & Hove but can travel to undertake work in other areas. I charge £75 per hour for self-referring clients, and a varying fee for clients who are referred by agencies. If you’re thinking of embarking on therapy, I’d be pleased to discuss how I might be of help before you decide to proceed.

I have been practicing psychotherapy for over 20 years and have committed to learning and deepening my understanding of complex trauma dissociative disorders. Historically I have used EMDR therapy, Somatic resourcing, Ego State therapy, Reiki, Thought Field Therapy, Hypnosis as well as embracing a psychodynamic approach. Ms Shayo LaiCounsellor & Psychotherapist Private Practice
Hello, I live in Scotland and can offer an audio-visual service if you feel that we could work together.
My career as a Mental/Health Practitioner includes 20 years as an Occupational Therapist in the NHS. This has given me a para-medical background and a profound acceptance that we cannot separate the mind and body.
My post-grad training in Person Centred Counselling and Psychotherapy started in 2010. I have continued to learn and grow. My work is informed by evidenced-based neuroscience and current research on the advances in psychotherapy approaches and treatments.
I believe that all therapy should be bespoke and individualised. At the end of the day, it’s about you and your need whether it’s:-
- Counselling – seeking counsel for something quite specific.
- Life Coaching – to talk through a decision or a crossroad you are facing.
- Psychotherapy – a CRM journey of healing and recovery from past events. 90min
- Supervision – for mental health practitioners, counsellors, psychotherapists (COSCA Supervision Cert)
I am an advocate of somatic psychotherapy. This means that it’s more than just a talking therapy.
The Comprehensive Resource Model (CRM) allows the brain and body to establish a physiological state of sufficient safety in order to create a new window of emotional tolerance. This has proven very effective for trauma, addictions, eating disorders, phobias and severe anxiety issues.
You set the pace but together, we build your inner resources to work through the protective layers that have usually taken years to build. Layers that have protected you but also, possibly, stopped the ’truth’ being brought into the light to allow for re-membering, re-framing, re-consolidation, and re-integration.
What happens next?
Once you have made contact through email: firstname.lastname@example.org
we’ll arrange a free 20-minute online conversation through Microsoft Teams or Signal.
This will give you a chance to decide if you want to work together.
If we decide to go ahead, I will send you some paperwork to complete and my payment details.
… and that’s it!
