Biography

I have had the privilege to work directly with Lisa on many occasions. Her mentorship has been invaluable and I have been a trainer in training for about one year. I have been licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist in California since 2000. I specialize in moving clients through attachment disruptions, complex and acute trauma resolution, complex PTSD, PTSD, severe anxiety, addictions, depression, adoption issues, grief and loss.

I have been privileged to work with Veterans helping them move toward healing their brains and enabling them to move forward in their lives with more joy, compassion and love toward themselves and other. I am currently working part time as an independent contractor at Reconnect Intensive Outpatient Program in Pacific Palisades, California as a Trauma Specialist.

My goal is to move clients towards transformation and healing with a deep personal connection to mind, body and spirit, through greater self awareness, self compassion and personal empowerment. The CRM creates the conditions to process more rapidly and completely with greater ease and comfort to the suffering client. Ultimately, giving the client the ability to repair attachment issues with self and regulate their own bodies and attune to themselves and meet their own needs and to develop healthier relationships with others.

Biographical Info:

Martha Lunney, LMFT is a therapist, artist and writer with a private practice in Richmond and San Francisco, CA. Over the past 25 years she has studied EMDR, Narrative Therapy, Just Therapy, Ericksonian Hypnotherapy, Inner Relationship Focusing and other modalities to hone her skills in working with the sequelae of trauma. She increasingly utilizes the tools and perspective of CRM in her work with therapists, artists, and other adults affected by depression, anxiety, trauma and other relational issues and strongly advocates for increased study and use of the CRM model among colleagues and in professional organizations.
