I offer help with difficulties such as trauma, anxiety, depression, stress, the enhancement of confidence & performance, and personal development. In my therapeutic practice I integrate CRM, EMDR, clinical hypnosis, body psychotherapies, meditative practices and cognitive behavioural procedures.

I have postgraduate training in integrative counselling/psychotherapy and clinical hypnosis, and consultant status in Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR).  I am accredited as a Senior Practitioner by the BACP and a Consultant by EMDR Europe.

I have particular interest in the treatment of post traumatic experiences: I was a contributor to NICE National Clinical Practice Guideline No. 26 – Post-traumatic stress disorder: the management of PTSD in adults and children in primary, secondary and community care.  I have an interest in transpersonal and spiritual dimensions and am currently researching anomalous experience in the therapeutic process for PhD in the Department of Psychology & Counselling at the University of Greenwich.

I am an integrative practitioner in psychotherapy and the Comprehensive Resource Model, with experience particularly in the fields of drug and alcohol misuse and domestic violence.  I have a private practice called True Connections whereby I treat clients from all walks of life and who present with conditions from workplace stress to severe trauma.  I am also experienced in the treatment of anxiety, depression, bipolar, OCD, body dysmorphic disorder, personality disorders, phobias, dissociative disorders, PTSD, childhood trauma and other mental illnesses.

Hi! My name is Anouska Madden – also known as Phoenix Dancing With Crow. My aim is to integrate a wide variety of healing techniques in a grounded and holistic way in order to empower people to remember who they really are and connect to their true essence. I am trained in advanced CRM and am also a Psychoanalytic and Mentalisation-Based Psychotherapist by background, specialising in severe and complex mental health issues and trauma. I have many years of experience of conducting both group and 1-1 psychotherapy sessions, including 10 years in the NHS and nearly 20 years working in Therapeutic Communities. I am also Shamanically Trained, having spent time learning from Shamans in South America, Africa and the U.K and am also trained in Hypnotherapy, Deep Tissue/Myofascial Massage and Bodywork, Sound Healing and Energy Work.
