I am a Board Certified Registered Art Therapist, and Licensed Professional Counselor – Supervisor, in private practice. I specialize in trauma resolution, teens, and women’s issues. I am excited to integrate CRM into my practice. Art making is an important part of my life; I am a professional artist, exhibiting locally, statewide, in Chicago, IL, and starting in 2016, in Rome, Italy. My artwork has been reviewed in local, regional, national, and international publications.
I am a generally registered psychologist in private practice and assistant trainer with the Comprehensive Resource Model (CRM) organization. After experiencing the power of this cutting-edge trauma therapy model first-hand, I followed my passion and completed every advanced training available.
My formal qualifications span the mind-body divide due to my lifelong interest in analyzing problems from a multidisciplinary perspective. These include a BSc (Pathology and Laboratory Medicine), GradDip (Psych), BSc (Hons) Psychology, and a Master of Psychology (MPsych). My work experiences are also diverse. For example, I have worked in cancer research, disability support, drug and alcohol services, child protection, and back in the day, a fish market!
During my university studies, I researched the role of attentional bias towards threat in anxiety, and the effects of cognitive bias on clinical decision-making in the euthanasia context. I believe in feedback informed treatment, measuring outcomes, and taking a holistic approach to healing.
I work with a diverse range of adult clients, with specific interest in dissociation, cPTSD, addiction, and other trauma-related issues. In addition to teaching CRM, I am especially passionate about helping therapists clear the effects of vicarious trauma to optimize client and therapist wellbeing.
In my thirty years of practice as a psychotherapist, I have had the opportunity to learn a variety of ways to approach healing and self-growth with my clients. After completing post graduate work in Gestalt Therapy and Mindfulness Meditation, I have gone on to study energy work, breathwork, EMDR, hypnosis, and Guided Imagery, neurofeedback, Heartmath, and, most recently The Comprehensive Resource Model. I find CRM to be a most powerful, effective, and unique means of working with people on a very deep, and often transformative level.
I am a trained registered Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor. I work from a relationship model, which considers how our past can influence our present, relationships, meanings we have made and how this effects our current relationship to ourselves, others and our world.
If you are looking for help, support and change in your life psychotherapy/counselling/trauma psychotherapy offer an opportunity to explore in depth; relationship issues, presenting symptoms of anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, abuse, addiction and mental health issues. To enable you to work towards a greater sense of integrated self and choice in your life. I offer to work with you to the best of my capacity to find what it is you need from therapy.

I have been practicing psychotherapy for over 20 years and have committed to learning and deepening my understanding of complex trauma dissociative disorders. Historically I have used EMDR therapy, Somatic resourcing, Ego State therapy, Reiki, Thought Field Therapy, Hypnosis as well as embracing a psychodynamic approach. After completing CRM Basic it seems to me that many of the paths I taken have led me to this healing model. I am thrilled to be sharing CRM with my clients now and empowering them in their post traumatic healing process.
