I have a passion to assist individuals in being able to free up the stuck places that get inset with traumatic events, childhood physical and sexual abuse, abandonment and neglect and negative patterns. You learned to cope the best you could to get through what you experienced when maybe your voice wasn’t heard, when your boundaries were crossed, when you weren’t allowed feelings and there was no place to go. As time goes on, the ways you learned to cope to get through actually stop you from being able to feel, to connect with important people in your life and leave you feeling disconnected even from yourself. Being able to shift the negative beliefs that get attached to trauma to see oneself in a positive light is truly a new way of living. I desire to assist you in making the changes that can bring more satisfaction in your life.

CRM combines everything I know to be true about real healing all in one place. I understand the importance of neuroscience and somatic experience in relation to deep, true transformation, and CRM leaves no stone unturned for the purpose of pursuing true inner peace and contentment.

After completing CRM’s Advanced Core Self Training, it’s become clear that this is the correct path for me to pursue professionally. In addition, I have a BA in Psych and BA in Health Physical Education as well as an MA in Transpersonal Counseling Psych. Maintaining a personal trainer certification since 2001, I also stay up on current approaches to health and wellness. I have a little fun reporting on a weekly radio show out of Ventura called Girls On the Air, KVTA 1590AM Saturdays at 11! Biographical Info:

Martha Lunney, LMFT is a therapist, artist and writer with a private practice in Richmond and San Francisco, CA. Over the past 25 years she has studied EMDR, Narrative Therapy, Just Therapy, Ericksonian Hypnotherapy, Inner Relationship Focusing and other modalities to hone her skills in working with the sequelae of trauma. She increasingly utilizes the tools and perspective of CRM in her work with therapists, artists, and other adults affected by depression, anxiety, trauma and other relational issues and strongly advocates for increased study and use of the CRM model among colleagues and in professional organizations.
