I am a Social Worker (MSW, RSW), Relational Psychotherapist (Dip TIRP) and Yoga Therapist (IAYT). I have worked in the field of social services and mental health since 2000 as both a counsellor and psychotherapist. The settings I have worked at include transitional housing for women and children, homeless shelters for youth, community mental health settings, a therapeutic boarding school in Ontario, and in private practice. I currently run a psychotherapy and yoga therapy practice in Collingwood, Ontario.

My foundational theoretical orientation is as a Relational Psychotherapist. This strong base has allowed me to integrate other models such as the Trauma Informed Stabilization Treatment model (level 4 training), Yoga Therapy perspectives and the Comprehensive Resource Model (CRM).

CRM has positively and profoundly changed the way I work and live so it has become the model I now work with most often. I find that clients who commit to working with CRM feel their treatment is more effective in that their lives change in subtle and overt ways that allow them to reduce symptoms more quickly, have more freedom, choice and connection to their adult self, their Core Self and their spirituality.

I have been fortunate to be able to study the following courses with CRM – Basic Training (2x), Generational Healing (2x), CRM with Core Self, Working with Black Holes, Working with Paradox and I will be completing the DID and Dissociation training in June 2024. I have participated in two 7-day Heal the Healer Intensives in Cape May with Lisa. I believe that to truly learn and embody the model, we must do our own work, so I have engaged in CRM based therapy and clinical consultation with Elisa Elkin Cleary and Lisa Schwarz since 2021. I offer individual sessions as well as group

intensives that combine yoga therapy with CRM. I am a member of a peer supervision group focusing on CRM and I am currently assisting Lisa in some of her courses as I hope to become a CRM trainer.

I have additional training as a Yoga Instructor and Yoga Therapist and have been working to integrate yoga therapy into the treatment I provide to my clients in private practice. Yoga Therapy dovetails very nicely with CRM work and both are providing me with a new way to deepen my understanding of the other and of how I want to work with healing in general.
